Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT, as it is also called, is a psychological form of acupuncture or acupressure. It is a practice that uses the fingertips to tap and stimulate specific meridian points on the body, while focusing on any unwanted feeling to diminish its intensity and ultimately to eliminate it.
EFT has one basic and simple sequence of points to tap no matter what the situation, so it is an easy process to master for any person who chooses to use it.
EFT works by removing an unwanted or negative emotional component from a memory, an event, a circumstance or a situation. Learning and using this technique removes distress within your body thereby creating profound yet pleasant effects upon attitude, perception, relationships (and yes…even health).
